Things I need to do/checks I need to perform to make sure this site more or less works for everyone:

• Check that the site is easy to navigate with:

  • A Trackpad Yep
  • Carat browsing Yep
  • Touch input Doable but not great, need to increase size of touch targets for tags, direct links, etc.

• That its easy to navigate on:

  • A mobile phone Yep, Navbar needs work, as do previously mentioned touch targets

  • Grey Scale: Not the best, needs improvement

  • High Contrast theming

  • Colour fucked low contrast monitor

    • I’m thinking of the holy 1280*1024 VGA/DVI mid 2000’s office monitor. I used to do everything on a Dell 17" TFT monitor, first directly via VGA, then DVI, then finally HDMI via VGA (very flickery, very good for your eyes), if the site doesn’t work on such a scuffed setup it isn’t properly poor proofed.
    • While I’m at it I should probably add a 768p netbook to the list…

• That all:

  • Images are correctly alt texted
  • Probably something else? do more research
